Collection: PETER KENNARD COLLECTION

Peter Kennard is Britain's most significant political artist. For five decades his photomontages have appeared on placards, in newspapers, in galleries and on the streets - making visible the connections between power, violence and complicity that official imagery is designed to conceal.

This collection brings Kennard's work into daily circulation. The Hiroshima Clock - still going off - on a recycled sports jersey. The Destruction Lines men's t-shirt. The Rose Diagrams women's tee. The Gaza Strip series. The Palestine 2023 organic cotton tee. Each piece carries the full weight of the original work.

These are not merchandise. They are political arguments in wearable form.

ABOUT THE ARTIST:
Peter Kennard has been making photomontages since the 1970s. His work addresses nuclear weapons, the Iraq War, Palestine and the long history of state violence, The image "Photo Op" - showing Tony Blair taking a selfie against a backdrop of burning oil became the defining image of the anti-war movement.
